Laser Detectors and Accessories

A Laser Detector (also known as a Laser Sensor or Laser Receiver) is an instrument which detects and locates the beam produced by a laser level. When using a laser level outside, you will not be able to visually see the laser beam. This is true regardless of whether you are using a red or green laser for your leveling application. A laser detector is always required when working outside in order to capture the laser beam. The laser detector will provide an audible sound when the detector has contacted the laser beam. Most laser detectors produce short beeps when it is close to the level line, and a solid beep when it has found level.
